Riverside Township Assessor Fran Sitkiewicz will host two Cook County property reassessment seminars on Monday, Nov. 14 at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in Room 30 (third floor) of the Riverside Township Hall, 27 Riverside Road in Riverside.
In Cook County assessed values for property taxes are reassessed every three years. This is known as a triennial reassessment. Riverside was last reassessed in 2014 so the township’s next reassessment will take place in February 2017.
“As the township assessor, I want our taxpayers to have the information needed to understand this process,” Sitkiewicz said.
All property owners in Riverside Township are invited to attend, but are asked to RSVP by calling the assessor’s office at 708-447-7700. Leave your name and property address and the assessor’s office will prepare handouts specific to your property.
