There are two types of people you go into politics. One type, is the individual who craves power and enjoys using it. This is a politician. Then, there is the other type, drawn to public service by their commitment to the community. Their gratification comes from the positive difference they make to the lives of others. Matt Sinde and Ed Jepson are of the latter category.
I proudly served on the board with Matt, and have known him to be soundly committed to the district and never shies from his duty to serve it. Ed’s pedigree as a successful labor attorney has armed him with the acumen to face the complex challenges to our district.
I heartily endorse both for re-election to the school board of District 208.
