The Brookfield Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association and Congress Park School PTO hosted their first-ever March Madness event at Congress Park School on March 18. The Congress Park School sixth-grade boys basketball team faced off against a team fielded by the Brookfield Police Department.
The crowd got wound up to a fever pitch at toward the end of the nail-biter, which the Congress Park boys won 54-53 on a shot in the final seconds.
