Vera L. Carter, 91, of Brookfield, died on April 14, 2017. Born on June 20, 1925, she worked as a secretary for a manufacturing company.
Ms. Carter was the daughter of the late James Carter and Alice Carter (nee Hollenzer); the sister of the late Marilyn Carter and Joan Carter; and a friend to many.
Services have been held. Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
