Maria Rebeca Salazar, 89, of North Riverside, died on May 29, 2017. Born on November 5, 1927, she was a homemaker.
Ms. Salazar was the wife of the late Juan; the mother of Guadalupe Salazar, Gloria (Luis) Ibanez, Celia (Javier) Govea, RosaMaria Salazar, Dolores (Leo) Zavala, Cecilia (Baldo) Bazaldua, Bertha (Mark) Smith and Juan Eduardo Salazar; the grandmother of 17; the great-grandmother of 11; and the sister of four.
A funeral Mass was celebrated June 1 at St. Mary of Celle Church in Berwyn, followed by interment at St. Mary Cemetery.
