James M. Schulz, 89, of LaGrange Park, died on July 31, 2017.
Born on Aug. 22, 1927, he served in both the U.S. Navy and a U.S. Army and who later worked as an accountant for the railroad industry.
Mr. Schulz was the husband of Sheila Schulz (nee Dickson); the son of the late Adolph Schulz and Catherine Schulz (nee O’Brien); the brother of the late Barbara Schulz and Lillian Schulz; the brother-in-law of Vera Clay, Jean Hall and Gill Dickson; the uncle of many nieces and nephews; and the best friend of Tony DeMartino.
A funeral Mass was held Aug. 8 at St. Louise de Marillac Church, followed by private interment.
Hitzeman Funeral Home, Brookfield, handled arrangements.
