Anne M. Orgler (nee Eichhorn), 88, of Oswego and formerly of Riverside and Las Cruces, New Mexico, peacefully died on April 24, 2018 at Edwards Hospital in Naperville. 

Born Dec. 29, 1929 in Chicago, the daughter of Andrew and Katherine (nee Schordge) Eichhorn, she worked as an administrative assistant for Hartmarx in Chicago until her retirement in 1994. Then she and her husband, Robert, moved to Las Cruces. 

While there, Ms. Orgler was an active parishioner with Our Lady of Health Catholic Church where she organized several prayer groups. She was currently a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego and a former member of St. Mary Church in Riverside. 

No matter what church she was attending, she was very active in pro-life groups, Holy Name Society, Christian Family Movement, choir member and lector. 

She was a former member and volunteer with the McHenry Republican Women and Riverside’s Kiwanis Club. 

Ms. Orgler is survived by her children, Jeanne (Michael) Hejtmanek, Mary Hejtmanek, Tom (Sharon) Orgler and AnneMarie (Gregory) Vrchota; her grandchildren, Michael (Kim) Hejtmanek, Katie Hejtmanek, Joey Hejtmanek, Jenny (Craig) Hejtmanek-Robin, Amy (Frank) L’Odense, Jason (Jackie) Vrchota, Tom Orgler, Danny Zimmerman, Lauren Orgler, Susan (Chad) Carrington, MaryLynne Zimmerman and Meghan Orgler; her great-grandchildren, Harper Hejtmanek, Sadie Hejtmanek, Abby L’Odense, Brooke Vrchota, Penn L’Odense, Carlie Vrchota and Milada Robin; her son-in-law, Dan Zimmerman; and her brother, James (Mary) Eichhorn. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert W. Orgler; her daughter, Peggy Zimmerman; her brother, Andrew Eichhorn; and her son-in-law, Don Hejtmanek.
