Don’t forget our pedestrians. Sun and rain has blessed our urban forest with new growth. Please be considerate and remember to trim the branches jutting out across the sidewalks.

Walking is more difficult when you have to duck low-hanging branches. After a rainfall, the rain-soaked leaves provide a second unanticipated shower if you don’t clear the branches.

Distracted walkers get a surprise face slap if you are not looking ahead. The alternative is walking across the lawn. It’s easy to forget about that tree in the parkway or the bush at the edge of the sidewalk. A little time spent trimming will result in grateful pedestrians.
