Michael Paz, 91, of LaGrange Park and formerly of Jata, Poland, died on July 30, 2018.
Born on Sept. 18, 1926, he was a foreman in the shipping industry. Mr. Paz was a proud 60-year member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
With his lifelong love for soccer, he was an avid player, coach, and manager.
Mr. Paz was the husband of the late Mira Paz (nee Urbanowicz); the father of Richard (Alison) Kelliher-Paz; the grandfather of Elizabeth (William) Startz and Zachary Kelliher-Paz; the brother-in-law of Harriet (Steve) Mulka and Witold (Dorothy) Urbanowicz; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Aug. 3 at St. Barbara Church in Brookfield, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
