Riverside Presbyterian Church youth and adult leaders recently returned from the annual summer mission trip. This year the group went to Detroit, Michigan, and worked with Camp Restore, working with partner community organizations and churches to bring stability and growth to neighborhoods that are as much as 75 percent unoccupied at present.

The 14 youths, along with Pastor Dale Jackson and three adult leaders, worked removing blight from deserted houses and cleaning up vacant properties. They also visited with elders in a nursing home and helped with clothing donations.
