Brookfield celebrated its 125th birthday on Nov. 3 with a special Founder’s Day event, which included the rededication of the village’s oldest building, the Grossdale Station. Festivities included a ribbon cutting at the station presided over by longtime Brookfield Historical Society member Karen Miller, society director Kit Ketchmark and state Rep. Elizabeth Hernandez.
