Harriet Materazzo (nee Holtrop), 69, of North Riverside, died on Nov. 23, 2018. Born on Oct. 29, 1949, she was a billing clerk.
Ms. Materazzo was the wife of Fiore Materazzo; the mother of Charles Crafton, Tony (Virginia) Crafton, Marietta (Chris) Gorniak, Anthony (JoAnn) Materazzo and Michelle (Zach) Frankenbach; the grandmother of Joseph (Katie) Crafton, Michael (fiancée Chitra) Crafton, Melissa (fiancé Jose) Martinez, Brianna Crafton, Angelina Crafton, Christopher (Angie) Gorniak, Luca Materazzo, Marco Materazzo, Olivia Frankenbach and Liam Frankenbach; the great-grandmother of nine; the sister of Catherine (the late Sam) Costabile and Roseanne (Joseph) Maffei; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was on Nov. 27 from 3 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, Nov. 28 from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St. in Brookfield. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Nov. 28 at 10 a.m. at Mater Christi Church in North Riverside, followed by Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
