Rita V. Plasketes, 94, of Lombard and formerly of North Riverside, died Dec. 20, 2018. Born Jan. 18, 1924 in Chicago, Ms. Plasketes worked in an electronic factory prior to retirement.
She was the wife of the late Charles E.; the mother of Laura Plasketes, George (Julie) Plasketes and Lynette (late David) Piekarski; and the grandmother of Anais, Rivers, Tyler, Chandler and Alexa.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Dec. 22 at Mater Christi Church in North Riverside. Interment was private.
