The pastors of Riverside Presbyterian Church and Ascension Lutheran Church were out on the morning of March 6 — Ash Wednesday — offering “ashes to go” at the downtown Riverside train station to the faithful commuting into the city on Ash Wednesday, the start of the Christian season of Lent.
