Vladimir J. Vnoucek, 103, of North Riverside, died on March 31, 2019. Born on August 5, 1915 in Chicago, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked as a mailer for the Chicago Sun Times newspaper.
Mr. Vnoucek was the husband of the late Josephine (nee Krizek); the father of Sandy (late Dick) Paulsen and Kirk (Cathy) Vnoucek; the grandfather of Sean Piper, Corey (Katie) Vnoucek, Shannon (Collin) Korab and Brad (Pamela) Paulsen; and the great-grandfather of Karissa, Juliana, Aidan, Finley, Ethan and Isla.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Mater Christi Church, corner of 24th St. and 10th Ave., in North Riverside.
