Barbara (Zick) Hawkins, 70, of North Riverside, died on April 13, 2019. Born on Feb. 8, 1949 in Chicago, Barbara was the wife of the late J.B. Hawkins; the mother of Michael, Scott (Patti), Laura (Michal) Koenig-Aprim, and Jay (Alpha); the grandmother of Heather, Douglas, Paige, Danielle, Matthew, Lauren, Barbara, Athena, Jasmine, Conrad and Cayden; friend of her fur babies, Penny and Buster; sister of Geri (Ray) Matusak and Cathie Doyle; special cousin and goddaughter of Pat Bihun; and aunt and cousin to many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was loved by Jennifer Marie Zick and Norbert Patrick Zick and was preceded in death by her brother, Norbert Paul Zick.
Friends and family are welcome to attend the memorial service on Saturday, April 27 at 9:30 a.m. at Mater Christi Church, 2431 S. 10th Ave. in North Riverside.
