Having just been sworn in as a new trustee of the village of North Riverside, I believe this is a good time to express my sincere appreciation to each and every resident who voted for me. I thank you.
I am extremely grateful for the opportunity you have given me to ensure that the hard-earned money of everyone who lives and/or works in North Riverside is being used wisely by the village. I consider it an honor to serve and I intend to be a good steward of your tax dollars every day.
Furthermore, I promise every resident and business owner in this village that I will make every effort to ensure that all taxes collected by our village government are used effectively and efficiently to consistently support economic development and growth.
I fully intend to be a champion of every taxpayer and business owner by eliminating all wasteful and unnecessary spending, while continuing to provide the excellent village services we all enjoy.
