Be sure to head on over to the Broadway Avenue business district in Brookfield on Sept. 20 as the business owners there celebrate the completion of the summer-long reconstruction project.
With roadways completely inaccessible for extended periods of time in front of the mom-and-pop businesses that line both sides of Broadway Avenue, this project was a real killer, since motorists actively avoided it if at all possible.
But, if you haven’t been over there to have a look lately, the place looks great, the roads are no longer pothole-strewn hazards and businesses are waiting for you to come and say hello, again.
