Herman H. Rohde, 80, of Lyons, died on Dec. 6, 2019. He was a retired field technician for law enforcement agencies, and he loved fishing.
Mr. Rohde was the husband of the late Georgiana (nee Reznik); the father of Deborah, Rebecca Synowiec and Jason; the grandfather of Heather, Jessica, Angelica, Jonathan and Joseph (Elizabeth); the great-grandfather of Ayvah Fabik, Lorenzo Wheeler, Elijah Vargas and Isaiah Johnson; the brother of the late Jennie (John) Kolzow; the brother-in-law of Charmaine Reznik; the uncle of Shari (Jack) Amaral and Jesica (Lorenzo) Ramos; and a great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Visitation is on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home 80 E. Burlington St. in Riverside. A funeral service will be held Dec. 14 at Trinity Community Church 7022 Riverside Dr. in Berwyn, followed by interment at Oakridge Cemetery.
