Harriet C. Knack (nee McLean), 94, of Brookfield and formerly of Glasgow, Scotland, died March 26, 2020 at her home.
Ms. Knack was born in Glasgow on Oct. 8, 1925. She arrived in the United States with her daughter, Anne, in 1946. She was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, traveling, reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She the beloved war bride of the late Clarence F. Knack; the mother of Anne W. (Robert) Funk, Patricia M. Victor and Paul W. (Sharron) Knack; the grandmother of Jennifer A. (Jason) Hawkins, Cairney J. (Steven) Kumis, David T. Victor, Christopher (Sherry) Funk and Susan (Kevin Meissner) Funk; and the great-grandmother of Ashley C. Hawkins, Alexa V. Hawkins, Sophie Kumis, Dylan Kumis, Alex Funk, Lilly Funk and Zoe Funk.
Private cremation services have been held. A memorial to celebrate Harriet’s life will be announced at a later date.
