JoAnne Kosey’s litany of snafus that took place on primary day in Riverside’s 8th Precinct (“Polling place snafus aplenty on Election Day,” Kosey Corner, March 25) were obviously an unfortunate result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Kudos to JoAnne and the rest of the judges for the long day they put in. However, the situation in Precinct 8 could be a good opportunity to promote voting by mail, which our household did prior to primary day.
It was easy to apply for mail ballots online with the County Clerk’s Election Division. Our ballots were mailed to us in a timely manner and we were able to return the completed ballots in postage paid envelopes. All very efficient and done in the comfort of our home.
