Joseph J. Aguirre, 98 of Brookfield, died Aug. 17, 2020.
Mr. Aguirre was born April 28, 1922 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a draftsman for a refinery.
He was the husband of Marlene Aguirre (nee Rantala); the father of Rita Aguirre, Janice (Rich) Zaloudek, Alan (Catherine) Aguirre, James (Rachael) Aguirre, Joyce (Don) Rogers, Sharon (Al) Frieh, Paul Aguirre, the late Joan Aguirre and John Aguirre; the grandfather of 22; the great grandfather of 10; the brother of the late Frederick (the late Diane) Aguirre, James (the late Mary) Aguirre and Maria Markech; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Services and interment are private for immediate family. Interment is at Chapel Hill Gardens West, Oakbrook Terrace.
