The League of Women Voters of the LaGrange Area will host candidate forums for contested school board elections in Lyons Township in the run up to the April 6 Consolidate Election.
In each forum, candidates will make brief presentations on their personal backgrounds and qualifications, and then they will answer questions submitted to the League by constituents.
Anyone who would like to submit a question in advance can do so by emailing league@lagrangearealwv.org. Identify the forum your question related to in the subject line of your email.
The forums are being held via Zoom, they are free to attend and open to the public. Registration information for the forums can be found on the organization’s Facebook page at facebook.com/TheLeagueofWomenVotersoftheLaGrangeArea.
Here’s are the forums being held by the League for school board races pertaining to the Landmark’s coverage area:
LaGrange-Brookfield School District 102, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m.
Lyons Township High School District 204, Feb. 24 at 7p.m.
