The Lyons Township High School Peaceable Schools Initiative (PSI) Club recently donated more than 330 holiday baskets for needy children at the Off the Streets Club, Chicago’s oldest boys and girls club.
In addition to 234 pre-filled baskets, additional supplies, including baskets/buckets, toys, books, arts and crafts, snacks, and more, were donated to fill an additional 100 baskets. Donations came in from the Lyons Township Assessor’s Office, LTHS staff members, PSI students and community members.

PSI Club creates a positive, comfortable and supportive learning environment for all through improved conflict resolution and communication skills.
The Off the Street Club in West Garfield Park provides a safe, supportive environment where neighborhood children can do homework or play games, perform plays, dance, roller skate, sing, play musical instruments and express themselves through arts and crafts and woodshop.
