Rosemarie Wagner (nee Smetana), 96, of LaGrange Park, died July 7, 2021 at her home.
Ms. Wagner was born Oct, 31, 1924 in Chicago and lived in Berwyn, graduating from St. Odilo grammar school in 1938 and St. Mary’s High School in Chicago in 1942. After graduation she worked as a switchboard operator for Illinois Bell Telephone.

They moved in with their daughter Debbie in LaGrange Park. Jim Wagner passed in 1993. Rose was an avid bowler. She enjoyed her Thursday afternoons with her T.A.L.K. league at the Berwyn Rec for over 30 years. She also enjoyed good books, gardening and spending time with her beloved dogs, Elle and Cody.
Services have been held. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
