Beatrice Anne Antonicic (nee Cahill), 93, of Nashville, Indiana, and formerly of Brookfield, died Nov. 2, 2021.
Ms. Antonicic was born July 22, 1928 in Chicago and warmed many hearts with her thoughtfulness and gentleness. “Be” talked often about friends she’d made through school and fondly remembered jobs at Marshall Field’s, Decca Records, Hines Hospital and Brookfield Department of Public Works, from which she retired.
She also enjoyed sewing, needlecrafts, caring for pets (major dog lover), gardening, feeding birds and squirrels, showing love to people in need and shopping, especially QVC.
Ms. Antonicic was the wife of the late Joseph N. Antonicic; the mother of Judy (Bill) Schlipp and stepmother of the late John (Patricia) Antonicic; the grandmother of James (Jenni) Antonicic, Timothy (Jessica) Antonicic, Christopher (Anastasia) Antonicic, Ryan (Alisha) Schlipp and Jamie Schlipp; and the great-grandmother of Jonathon, Kayleigh, Alexandra, Samantha, Jeremy, Vince, Kullen, Riley Grace and Brinley.
Visitation is Tuesday, Nov. 9 from 3 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 9 a.m. until time of chapel service at 10 a.m. at Johnson-Nosek Funeral Home, 3847 Prairie Ave., Brookfield. Interment is at Woodlawn Cemetery, Forest Park.
