Herold L. Wind, 86, of Broadview, died Oct. 26, 2021.
Mr. Wind served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad switch operator. He was a member of the Illinois Rail Museum, the Wabash Frisco and Pacific Railroad in Wildwood, Missouri, and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Brookfield.
He was the husband of Louise Wind (nee Schultz), the father of Karen (Nick) Nardello, Kristin (David) Arce and Kristopher (Elia) Wind and friend to many.
Services and interment at Concordia Cemetery in Forest Park were private.
