Vlasta “Val” Zitny (nee Linhart), 90, of Downers Grove and formerly of Brookfield, died Oct. 31, 2021. She was a retired preschool teacher.
Ms. Zitney was the wife of the late Roy Stanley Zitny; the mother of Christopher (Deborah) Zitny and Russell (Kathryn) Zitny; the grandmother of Brooke (Patrick) McCarthy, Brett (Elizabeth) Zitny, Eric (Amy) Zitny and Kelly (Brian) Redding; and the great grandmother of Lily, Ethan, Marissa, Andi, Tatum, Charlotte and Max.
Services have been held. Interment was at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien. A livestream of the service is available for viewing at memorialslive.com/vzitny.
