Valerie A. Kosin (nee Zalas), 87, of North Riverside, was the mother of Donald Jr. (Joyce), and Kenneth (Nadia) Kosin; grandmother of Katharine (James), Dylan, and Ginella; and the sister of Joan Coufal.
She taught for over 25 years at St. Mary School in Riverside.
Visitation was held on Aug. 1, with services on Aug. 2 at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St., Riverside, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Church.
