A Brookfield resident has been charged with battery in connection with a physical altercation outside Lyons Township High School’s North Campus on May 1 that injured two students, one of them “severely,” according to an update on the school’s website posted late on the afternoon of May 5.

There was no further information on the injured student’s condition, only that the student, who was taken to the hospital via ambulance “continues to receive medical treatment.”
