Tim Brewer, 63, of Brookfield, died on Oct. 10, 2023. Born on March 25, 1960 to Donald and Barbara (Vondra) Brewer in Chicago, the third of five children, he was the “True Brew” middle child of the Brewer clan. He made lifelong friends with many of his classmates, loved coaching his children in baseball, and spent many happy hours fishing with his best buddies. Some of his fondest memories were taking fishing trips to the boundary waters in Minnesota and Canada. His greatest joy was sharing his love of baseball and fishing with his sons.
Tim is survived by his wife, Kristi (Krapfl) Brewer; his sons, Jakub “Jake,” Timothy (Jenny), Matthew (Athena), and Daniel (Amy) Brewer, and stepson Sam Ryan; his grandchildren, Jakub, Ethan, Lillian, and Logan Brewer, and Gianna and Jonathan Kirsch; his siblings, James (Beth), Laura, and Christopher Brewer; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Michael Brewer; and his nephew, Christopher Brewer.
A memorial service for Tim will be held on Saturday, October 21st from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2868, 8844 Ogden Avenue, Brookfield, IL 60513.
