Wilma R. Pecka (nee Zelibor), 99, of North Riverside, died on Oct. 16, 2023. Born on March 8, 1924, she was active in Mater Christi Church, the Tabernacle Guild, and was a former parish Woman of the Year.
Wilma was the wife of the late Edward J. Pecka; the mother of Nancy (the late Jeffrey) Rokos, Noreen (Steve Imig) Sorensen, and Diane (John) Obremski; the grandmother of Mark (Anne-Marie) and David (Shelley) Rokos, Eric, Karl and the late Ryan Sorensen, and Steven and Brian (Mary Beth) Obremski; and the great-grandmother of seven.
Visitation will be held at Mater Christi Church, 2401 S. 10th Ave., North Riverside, on Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 11 a.m., followed by entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
