Eucharistic minister, loved to dance
Cecelia P. Straka (nee Stonesifer), 83, of Brookfield, formerly of Riverside, died on Oct. 31, 2023. Born on March 22, 1940, she was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary Church. She loved to garden, travel, and had a passion for music and dancing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Cecelia was the wife of the late Edward Straka; the mother of Renee Straka, Mark (Karen) Straka, Michael Straka, and the late Lisa (Mark) Simo; grandmother of Ryan and Shea Simo, Spencer and Tyler Lebegue, and Jason, Brendan and Emma Straka, and Brad and Alex Wahlgren; great-grandmother of Remy; sister of the late Donald Stonesifer; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Road, Westchester on Saturday, Nov. 11, for a memorial visitation from 9 a.m. until the chapel service at 11 a.m.
Interment is private.
