Carol Ann Weber, 81, died on Nov. 8, 2023. Born on Nov. 26, 1941 in Chicago, her life was one of deep faith, love and kindness toward others.
In her own quiet way, she was a special person whose presence touched the lives of many, whether it be with a warm smile or a comforting word, and a genuine interest in the lives of those around her. Professionally, she worked for many years as a trust officer at Citizens Bank. She enjoyed her home and flower gardens and loved animals, especially her three cats who brought so much joy to her life. She attended daily Mass throughout her life and was very involved with St. Barbara Church, working in the sacristy for many years and leading the rosary every morning after Mass during the week. She had a deep and lasting devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and was a longtime member of the women’s club.
Carol was the daughter of the late William J. and Blanche J. Weber; the sister of Dolores (the late Victor) Mattern and the late Donald Weber; the aunt of William (Meagan) Mattern and Julie (Julia) Mattern; and the great-aunt of Emma Mattern.
Visitation was held on Nov. 12 at Johnson-Nosek Funeral Home, 3847 Prairie Ave., Brookfield. The funeral Mass was celebrated on Nov. 13 at St. Barbara Church in Brookfield, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
