Burger Antics, a gourmet, Chicago-style burger bar, is slated to open at 3740 Grand Blvd., in early March. The owners of the business, Brenna and Dan Velcich have started renovating the for Giron's space and are expected to get their liquor license from the village of Brookfield on Feb. 9.
But they're looking for some neighborly assistance in trying to fund the renovations to their new space. To that end, they started a Kickstarter campaign and hope to raise $12,500 within the next month. To date, they've raised a little more than $1,100.
You can get info on the Kickstarter campaign (along with a little video explaining the idea behind Burger Antics) here.
The business has also recently updated its website, which can be found here.
