The Illinois Department of Public Health will be conducting drive-thru COVID-19 testing in Countryside, at the site of the old city hall, 5500-50 East Ave., on Saturday, Oct. 17 and Sunday, Oct. 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Anyone can get tested; you don't need to be showing any symptoms or be sick to be tested. The testing will involve simple nasal swabs, and those tested will receive a call with results within four to seven days.
There is no cost for the testing, but the IDPH is asking that those with insurance cards bring them. You can still be tested if you are not insured.
