Remembering the fall of Berlin Wall
Join German historian Anette Isaacs for a historical and political overview of a painful, yet miraculous, period in Berlin's history during her presentation "The Rise and Fall of the Berlin Wall" on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Brookfield Public Library, 3609 Grand Blvd.

Magician/mentalist at TWS

Trivia Night at North Riverside Library

Riverside Little League community meeting
Riverside Little League will kick off the 2020 season with a community meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Riverside Township Hall, 27 Riverside Road.
Little League board members will be introduced and the 2019 survey results will be presented. In addition the board will unveil the new Riverside Little League website, discuss the 2020 timeline, offer volunteer opportunities and answer questions.
St. Louise Holiday Bazaar
Get a little early Christmas shopping done this weekend at the Holiday Bazaar in the Parish Hall next to St. Louise Church, 31st Street and Harrison Avenue in LaGrange Park, on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
More than 50 crafters and vendors will be on hand, and kids can get their photos taken with the Grinch and Santa. There's also a Crafters Café serving breakfast and lunch, a holiday cookie sale and raffles.
In addition, the Scholastic Book Fair will be open during the hours of the bazaar, which is free and open to the public
Sherlock Holmes at Hauser
Hauser Junior High School, 65 Woodside Road in Riverside, invites the community to enjoy "Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery" in the school auditorium on Monday, Nov. 18 and Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.
This fast-paced comedy follows the exploits of Holmes and Dr. Watson as they solve the mystery of "The Hound of the Baskervilles" before a family curse dooms its newest heir.
Admission is free.
ν North Riverside Parks and Rec continues its Free Popcorn and Movie series on Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. with a screening of "The Mule," starring Clint Eastwood as a 90-year-old facing foreclosure who takes a job as a drug courier for a Mexican cartel.
