Lyons Township High School's radio station, WLTL 88.1, is getting set to host its annual hosting Rock-a-Thon to raise money for the station. The event begins Friday, Feb. 15, and runs through 9:06 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, for a total of 88.1 continuous hours. LTTV will also broadcast and stream video live over the internet and cable.

Students will take pledges from listeners who can call 708-482-9585 or donate online by clicking the link available at www.wltl.net. There will be items for auction, contests and more. Funds raised this year will be used to purchase a new broadcast antenna, broadcast software and studio equipment.

In addition to listening to Rock-a-Thon at 88.1 FM, LTTV will simulcast via cable on Comcast channel 99 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99. Rock-a-Thon will also be streamed on twitch and the web at www.wltl.net. Web content will be posted throughout the weekend, with posts to Facebook and Twitter and video content on YouTube pages.
