Sts. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Riverside, located at 31 and DesPlaines, offers a st Wednesday morning Bible study and discussion group from 10:30 a.m. – noon during the season of Lent entitled “Tested by Fire: Living as a Christian in a Post-Christian Era (A Study of I Peter).” Also every Wednesday evening in Lent the congregation hosts a sung vespers service at 7:15 p.m. preceded by a soup supper at 6:30 p.m. Meditations for this service are taken from the book Sadhana—A Way to God: Christian Exercises in Eastern Form. Preschool Registration for the 2013-14 school year is now in progress.
