Community Nurse Health Center and Chamberlain College of Nursing are teaming up to make our communities stronger and better! Community Nurse Health Center is excited to announce that Chamberlain College of Nursing has selected Community Nurse Health Center as its charity through 2014. “We are so excited to be working with a great school of nursing like the Chamberlain School of Nursing, said Angela Curran, CEO of Community Nurse Health Center. “We are excited to begin a great partnership with Chamberlain within our Health Center and at our events”, concluded Curran.

As a Devry, Inc. institution, each Chamberlain College of Nursing location (including campuses and national management office (NMO) is encouraged to uphold the TEACH values by individually supporting a local charity or local community organization that aligns with the Chamberlain mission, vision and purpose. Based on these values, as well as the Chamberlain established guidelines for selecting a charity, the employee engagement team of Chamberlain’s national management office (NMO) has selected Community Nurse Health Center of LaGrange, IL. The relationship between Chamberlain’s NMO and Community Nurse will provide various volunteer and donation opportunities for Chamberlain NMO employees through fiscal year 2014. Events which Chamberlain NMO aims to support include and are not limited to, Secret Santa, Waterfall Glen Extreme 10 race on July 13, 2013 and Rocktoberfest in on September 21, 2013.

Community Nurse serves as a community health care center for residents of the western suburbs of Chicago, focusing on those who have limited access to care. Community Nurse values patient dignity, community collaboration, prevention and wellness by delivering coordinated and integrated health care services and education.
