Seventeen-year old Rachel Noëlle of Riverside publishes a 600-page novel on Amazon and Kindle Fire. The RBHS graduate hopes to use this last summer before college to promote her new book for young adults.

Toni is told from the eyes of an eccentric teenage girl whose disapproving parents banish her to a touristic town off the coast of Croatia. Rachel Noëlle based her story off of experiences she had while travelling Europe last summer. Her love for music, Croatia's beauty, and a wild friend of hers served as an inspiration for Toni. Although this marks the first time Rachel Noëlle ever published a novel, the young author has possessed a passion for creative writing ever since she was young. Her poetry has been displayed in the Riverside Public Library's 2011 exhibit of Works Inspired by Nature.

On June 2nd at 6:30 pm, North Riverside Public Library shall host Rachel Noëlle's presentation on her experience in creating the book.
