Canadian National crossing improvements will require road closures in Riverside and North Riverside

The CN Railroad has notified Riverside and surrounding communities of the following scheduled repairs this summer in our area. All of these projects will necessitate full road closures for the dates mentioned. Signage will be in place one week before all closures.

DesPlaines Avenue Crossing (between Cermak Rd. & 26th Street) –Starting 8 a.m. July 8 through 6 p.m. July 14.
Harlem Avenue Crossing (between 26th Street & Longcommon) – Starting 8 a.m. July 26to 6 p.m. August 3.
Cermak Road Crossing (between Harlem Avenue and DesPlaines Avenue) – Starting 8 a.m. August 13 to 8 a.m. August 15. On August 15 & 16, there will be one lane open in each direction.
