Every year Riverside Presbyterian Church sends a group of high school students off for a week on a youth mission trip. This year, nine youth and three adult leaders traveled to St. Louis for urban ministry and outreach.

They stayed at the Amen House, a Ministry of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, and participated in a service projects, reflection and education about the issues facing the St. Louis community. The group volunteered with local organizations to serve those experiencing homelessness, crisis, poverty and food insecurity.

Youth Group participants learned first-hand about the broader world and to become more aware of situations very different from their own and how to be change agents for societal issues.
