Caroline A. Johnston (nee Wawra), 83, of Brookfield, died Dec. 13, 2020.

Ms. Johnston worked as a legal secretary and was a longtime delegate for CSA District Council, past vice president of the Cultural Division and Lodge Rovnost treasurer.

 She was the wife of the late Jerome J. Johnston; the mother of Kenneth Johnston and Julie (Matthew) Woodman; and the grandmother of Arianna Woodman and Zachary Woodman. Carol will also be missed by her loyal companion, Daisy, and all of her granddogs.

A service will be held at a later date. Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.

Memorials are appreciated to Czechoslovak Society of America, Scholarship Fund, 2050 Finley Road, Lombard, 60148.

Hitzeman Funeral Home, Brookfield, handled arrangements.
