On Sunday morning, Oct. 1, I attempted to mail letters via the Riverside Post Office drive-through. Making too wide of a turn into the parking lot, I drove over the median (island with grass and trees) and damaged my car.

A kind gentleman, who had just left Riverside Foods, saw my accident and immediately walked over to my car. He was so kind, pleasant, comforting and assuring.  Needless to say he eased my anxieties.  He even gave me a hug.

I did not ask his name, but want to thank him for his willingness to assist me.  Hopefully, he’ll see my letter and know of my appreciation for his random act of kindness.
