Frances R. Bartik, 93, of North Riverside and formerly of Riverside, died Oct. 5, 2013.
Ms. Bartik born Nov. 6, 1919 and formerly was a librarian in Mason City, Penn. She was a member of the Friends of the Riverside Public Library and a member of St. Mary Parish for 53 years.
She was the wife of the late Raymond Bartik; the mother of Mary Bartik, Raymond (Evonne) Bartik, Michael (Cheryl) Bartik, Edward (Janice) Bartik and Gregory Bartik; the grandmother of David, Roxann (James) Victory, Vicki, Jessica (Andrew) Brummett, Chrissy, Stephanie, James, Eric Romo and Michael; and the great-grandmother of Colin Victory, Erin, Anna, Sarah and Catherine Brummett.
Visitation will be on Monday, Oct. 14 from 3 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. at Ivins Moravecek Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St., Riverside. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 126 Herrick Road in Riverside, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Memorial donations are appreciated in Ms. Bartik’s name to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
