Edward Vitous, 99, of Yorkville and formerly of North Riverside and Berwyn, died Dec. 12, 2020.
Mr. Vitous was born Sept. 8, 1921 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a machinist for Ford Motor Company and Boyar-Shultz.
He was the husband of the late Shirley M. (nee Emms); the father of Diane (Ronald) Deuter; and the grandfather of Stephany.
Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 16, from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Mater Christi Church in North Riverside. Interment is at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Stickney.
