Eva L. Hejna, 81, Former Riverside Library trustee

Eva Lee "Gerry" Hejna (nee Goodale), 81, of Riverside, died Dec. 24, 2013.

Ms. Hejna was very active in Riverside as a member of the Riverside Presbyterian Church, the Riverside Garden Club and the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO). She was also an elected official in the village, serving on the Riverside Public Library Board of Trustees.

She was the wife of the late William F. Hejna, M.D; the mother of William Hejna, David (Nancy) Hejna, Michael (Michelle) Hejna and Susan (Richard) Sheppard; the mother-in-law of Nancy Hejna; and the grandmother of Katherine, Margaret, William, Joseph, Alex, Madeline, Andrew "Hub", Emily, Amanda, Claire, Richard, Daniel and Robert.

Services have been held. Memorial donations are appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
