John A. "Jack" Urban, 53, of Hodgkins and formerly of Wheaton and Brookfield, died Jan. 14, 2013 at Alden Town Manor in Cicero.
Mr. Urban was raised in Brookfield, graduating from St. Barbara School in 1973 and Riverside-Brookfield High School in 1977. He was employed for more than 20 years as a machinist for the Elkay Manufacturing Company in Broadview.
He is survived by his daughter, Holly Urban; his parents, Donald and Joan (nee Northam) Urban; his brother, William "Billy" (Tracy) Urban; his sister, Linda (Dennis) Tischler; and his nephews, Quinn and Carson Tischler.
A memorial service will be held at a future date. Memorial donations are appreciated to Unity Hospice of Chicagoland, 700 S. Clinton St., Suite 210, Chicago, Ill. 60607.
