Jose Derly Valadez, 81, of Brookfield, died Feb. 10, 2020.
He was born March 23, 1938 and worked as a dock attendant for a trucking company prior to retirement.
Mr. Valadez was the husband of Rosa Maria (nee Gonzalez) for 56 years; the father of Adriana (Ruben) Varela, Rosie (Gonzalo) Gradilla, Derly Valadez, Dinorah (Edgar) Zavala; the grandfather of Nicholas, Clarissa, Gabrielle (Salvatore) Rodriguez, Gabriel, Angelina, Jessica, Daniel, Eric, Giselle, and Elysa; and the great grandfather of Mia, Benjamin and Leo.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Feb. 14 at St. Barbara Church in Brookfield, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
